About Silverbrook Farm Silverbrook Farm lies nestled between the Blue Ridge Mountains and picturesque Short Hill Mountain, offering a vista of rolling countryside. It features a stone, stucco and frame house dating from the mid-1700s and early 1800s—with additions from 1870 and 1998. The long front porch offers a wonderful view of meadow, mountains, and cattle grazing peacefully. In addition to the historical house, barns, and dependencies, delightful gardens surround the house. The formal boxwood garden is a lovely wedding site. The lawn and gardens will accommodate 100 guests easily. For smaller events, the gardens may be used, or the house can be used in either summer and winter, accommodating 60 with ease. The children's garden is a popular site for tea parties and games. If you're looking for a true country site for bed and breakfast stays, weddings, rehearsal dinners, intimate dinner parties, workshops, or retreats, Silverbrook Farm is a must to see. Silverbrook Farm is about one hour from Washington, DC, situated halfway between Leesburg, Virginia, and Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. There is much to see and do in the area, including historical sites, golfing, wonderful hiking trails, biking, antiquing, and shopping. We would be most happy to give you a guided tour of the property. Please call for an appointment or additional information.
